About ProBridge
Founded in 2014, Probridge was set up by Sally Brock, Simon Cope and Ben Green, in order to promote professional bridge throughout the UK. The purpose was to remove some of the mystique behind professional playing, to make it clear what services were being offered by whom, to whom, and for what cost. All three founder members are well respected in the bridge-playing community, and all have experience of playing professionally and teaching, both online and face to face.
Sally Brock first played for England in 1976, winning the Lady Milne, the women’s home international. Her most recent world title was the World Mindsports Games in Lille in 2012. She has won most UK domestic tournaments too. She has helped with the coaching of junior teams, and regularly plays with clients online.
Ben Green made his debut for the England Open Team in 2014 playing in the Camrose, also playing extensively at junior international level. Ben has also coached and captained the Open and junior teams at European and World Championships.
Simon Cope discovered bridge at his school bridge club, before going on to represent England several times at junior level. When his advanced years prevented him from playing for the juniors any longer, he became involved with coaching and captaining for the Junior, Women’s and eventually the Open team, culminating in leading them to their first Bermuda Bowl for eight years in 2013. He also is a regular winner on the domestic tournament scene.
